Happy Holidays!

The holidays are here and so are the Elams!  We've had a very busy year and lots of fun.  It's been a year of parties, graduations, weddings, races, friends and family!  Anastasia is happy now that Bow got to go back home to Mom.  Last year's Christmas baby Bella left early in the Spring to join her new family in Wisconsin, the Garskes.  Little Liberty, born on the Fourth of July, has turned out to be the one monkey who refuses to grow up:  Bobbie has never had one who wants to cuddle and stay a baby like this one.  Graybar and Babette still haven't had any babies for us even after the intimate lighting we added near their house.

This past year has certainly been interesting.  Bobbie was in her first bikini contest.  (and at SUCH a tender young age she was.....) Daniel married some friends in a beautiful ceremony at Westborne.  We celebrated Daniel's birthday in New Orleans with friends and Bobbie's custom-made hat was the hit at Royal Ascot Ladies Day.  Daniel drove cross country three times while he and Harry won the series championship with the race car.  Daniel was even lucky enough to compete in the National championship race at Sears Point.  We spent time in Paris and the Pacific Northwest.   Bobbie and Marjorie, a Richmond friend, met the "internet monkey ladies" in San Diego for a lot of monkeying around and shopping in Tijuana.   Along the way we added a few more laugh lines and watched Elams.Org grow to see up to 90,000 hits per day.

We were fortunate enough to be able to make new friends and see some old ones.  One disappointment is that we haven't seen any of you as often as we would like.  Hopefully we'll be able to change this in the coming year.

This year, retailers wasted no time in putting the decorations up in October.  Two months of incessant commericalism is enough to make anyone forget the true meaning of the holidays.  Hopefully, you and your family will find a little private time free from the drone of advertising and consumption.  When you do, enjoy the peace and know that we are thinking of you.   giftbox.gif (199 bytes)
