The
Monument Avenue 10K
has turned into one of the best - and most popular - 10K races in the country.
We're fortunate enough to get a prime seat as 20,000 people run (and a few
walk). The weather was nearly perfect this year and the race came down to
a late finish with some really fast guys! Check out the pics of the people
- if you find yourself in here and want one, just send us an e-mail and we'll be
happy to send you the full size version. One really neat thing they did
was pick one guy at random to get a head start. If he could beat the rest
of the field, he ended up with a bonus of $2,500. Larry Comstock, 49, was
the guy and from our vantage point it looks like he pulled it off. Pretty
neat to see. Congratulations to everyone who participated. Nice job!
