Salisbury, England

While Bobbie was busy with Harry, I went off for a little day trip to Salisbury. The town is deservedly well known for it's splendid cathedral. The cathedral is unique in England in that it was basically all built at one time. The result is a single architectural style. It was built to replace the old cathedral in the nearby medieval fort of Sarum. The cathedral is huge and features ancient tombs dating as far back as 1020 A.D. The litle town of Salisbury is really cute too: well worth a visit.
