Everyone has their ups and downs. That was certainly true in our 2004 racing season. With 12 blown engines, 5 major wrecks, and just one win it counts as our most frustrating year ever. Still, we did eek out a couple of wins (in races with small car counts) and Cobra continues to get faster. Hopefully we'll be in the hunt for 2005 for a couple of championships. We also managed to avoid any serious injuries in the wrecks, although Bobbie did have one trip to the hospital for observation after getting her race car license in February.

Our off season is focused on Harry redoing much of the mechanicals on the car and some updates to some things we had wanted to do. Dan will be doing some body work. We've purchased another Porsche for Bobbie and will be getting the engine and other stuff out of it to get it back on the track. Last, but certainly not least, we've shipped the Daytona Coupe off to get ready for the mid-part of the 2005 season.

We're the two-time champions for the FFR Spec Racer series here in the Mid-Atlantic.  (Daniel also won the 2003 Spec RX-7 NASA Championship.) We run the Factory Five Cobra with NASA and occasionally SCCA as Bobbie runs her race car.
