With the regular season points races all decided the final NASA event of the year came down to a bunch of playing.  Bobbie stayed home this time while Dan raced the Coupe and the talented engine builder Mike Morris ran the Cobra.  Making it more fun was Brian Cates switching from his Cobra to run a CMC car so Mike could play with some of his fellow series drivers.  Mike ran to a class win on Saturday with the eVisory Cobra, but Dan ended up hitting the wall and came home in 10th place overall.  It was a little disappointing.  Here's a video of Dan hitting the wall.  Here's the same thing from the in-car view.  Fortunately the start of the race was a little bit better!

Broke the Big Wheel too!

Mike couldn't race on Sunday so it was Dan back into the Cobra against the regular competition.  For this day, there wasn't much to do with the car and Dan was lucky to salvage a third place finish.

For the season, Team Elam ended up in second place for the MidAtlantic and 4th place for the East Coast.

BTW, we took NONE of the photos this weekend.  Special thanks to EuroImage and Chris Schultz for taking the pictures.
