The season continued with it's disappointment as we took the Cobras to Kershaw, SC and added Bobbie driving Mike Morris' Mustang while we waited for her new Porsche engine.  On Saturday, the red Cobra didn't even make it to qualifying before we found a problem with the new engine.  On Saturday, it rained and we had forgotten our rain tires so we borrowed some and made it around the track to finish in second place.  Bobbie finished an impressive 10th in her first time driving the Mustang.  It wasn't what we were hoping for, but the Cobra is getting faster as we learn the new tires.

Sunday brought more time with the new setup for Dan and Bobbie with the black Mustang.  Unfortunately, while Dan was running in second place on the second lap, he ended up getting hit from behind and knocked into the wall.  The other car ended upside down on it's roof with the driver trapped inside.  It took the rescue crews a long time to get the situation stabilized and they were forced to cancel the race.

Not our best weekend.  For those keeping score, that means three race weekends with three blown engines and three wrecked cars.
