Bobbie and Daniel Drive Cross Country

We passed through a place in New Mexico called Exit 108-no town name, just Exit 108. There was a truck stop with an Indian casino located across the street there. I wanted to waste a few quarters so I walked to the casino to find a slot machine while Daniel brought the truck and trailer over. I put in 3 quarters in a machine and won $50.00. I gathered up my winnings and headed to the trailer!

The next day was easier as we rolled on to Flagstaff, AZ after yet more truck stops.  We really dodged a bullet since the next day saw a major accident in New Mexico that closed the interstate for over a day.   In fact, we were very lucky since a major winter storm was just hours behind us dumping snow and creating gusty winds. 

One of the highlights is the Museum Club, right on Route 66 in Flagstaff.   if you have ever wanted to see what a 'real' country music bar looked like, this is the place to come.  It is, quite possibly, one of the most fun bars in the country.

The temperature got down to a chilly 9F, so we had to make sure that the Cobra was drained (no anti-freeze) and safe for the night.
