One thing that you can count on around here is that the house will be full of animals! Whether it be the enthusiasm of Liliana or an ever helpful monkey, there is usually something to get under your feet or on your head at the Elam's house!
Bobbie helps foster animals from our friends' private zoo. That means a constant collection of critters ranging from monkeys to kangaroos. And no, we don't want to raise them to adults! Monkeys can live up to 30 years and they need a lot of space to play. They also need companionship. Kangaroos, wallabies, and other animals can live equally long lives and all need more space than a house in the city will allow! We are fortunate to be able to help raise the babies. It is very rewarding and fulfilling.
